About Our Instructors
Chabot Swim Academy is proud of our program and our instructors are a big reason why. Our instructors truly enjoy working with the kids. All this adds up to lessons that have our swimmers progressing much quicker and enjoy the process.
About Bill Kriskovich
I have been involved in aquatics almost my entire life. I started as a swimmer at 10 years old with the San Leandro Swim team and after my last season of summer swimming I began coaching at 19 years old. I coached off and on for the next 19 years with various Aga group teams including stints with San Leandro High and Bishop O’Dowd high schools.
During those years I began teaching swim lessons in the summers while attending San Diego State University. I received my Teaching Credential and taught PE with Fremont Unified for 25 years. During my teaching career I ran my own swim school serving 300+ kids each summer as well as teaching Competitive Swim Clinics for kids wanting to improve their competitive skills.
I am thrilled to be involved with Aquatics once again as the Head Coach of Chabot Swim Club in Castro Valley. While our new school; Chabot Swim Academy will be much smaller than what I did in the past I am more excited as our quality of instruction still be of the highest quality and I can focus on a smaller select number of kids. The more intimate setting will allow me to assist my instructors and oversee the progression of our swimmers. I look forward to more interaction with the kids, my instructors and the parents as we all work toward the goal of having the swimmers become more safe in the water, improve their skills and have a special experience learning. I know swimming has had a major impact on my life and I hope the same for everyone involved in Chabot Swim Academy.
